Item Description
These buttons are all 1.25". They are from the late '40s and early '50s and comprise at least two different series. Some are marked with a small copyright symbol while others do not have this symbol. All are different. In order and with any significant defects noted they are: John Wayne which is the scarcest of the group and one that we've seen only a half dozen times. Next come two different for "Allan 'Rocky' Lane", the second of these has some tiny brown spotting. Next is Andy Clyde, Buster Crabbe, two different for Charles Starrett with the second one having small age mark on his forehead and neck. Next comes Dale Evans, Gene Autry, Hopalong Cassidy, Johnny Mack Brown, and two different for Monte Hale. Next are two different for Rex Allen with the second having a pinpoint dot on his lip. Next is Rod Cameron with a little faint age around the outer perimeter. The group finishes with Roy Rogers, Tim Holt and Whip Wilson. Along with John Wayne the scarcest buttons in the group are Gene Autry shown with gun belt over shoulder, Monte Hale with copyright symbol, both Rex Allen, and Tim Holt.
