Item Description
Embossed brass badge 1.5" long featuring only a single wing at left. Given the rank of "Cadet" specified on the lower panel this was apparently awarded before the club member earned the rank of Pilot which consists of a badge identical to this but with a wing design at both the left and right. See Hake Pop Culture Memorabilia Guide Jimmie Allen item #JAM-87. The badge with the "Pilot" designation is among the rarest of the 1930s Jimmie Allen wings and this "Cadet" version is even less frequently seen. NM luster.
