Item Description
1.75" with Western Badge Los Angeles back paper depicting elderly black man in spectacles and floppy hat. This character was the head of an early TV club sponsored by station KECA which operated in Los Angeles beginning in September 1949 as part of the ABC Network. There were at least eight different animal characters associated with the club and we've seen 1.25" buttons for most of them if not all. This is the one larger 1.75" button in the set. Scarce and NM displaying Mint. Morry Greener Collection.
