Item Description
Exceptional doll which is the smaller of two sizes. 13" tall to the top of Donald's head, 16" to the top of his hat. The larger size is 16.5" to the top of his head.
c. 1938. Has attached cardboard string tag showing an angry Donald. Light creases, Fine. Doll is dressed in felt outfit with brass buttons, braid accent, leatherette belt with snap, plush hat with braid chin strap. Oil cloth eyes and felt tail. Complete with original wood baton. Felt shows light wear/aging but retains strong color. White areas of doll have trace of age toning but quite nice overall. VF/Exc. Rare, especially complete and in this condition. In auction #202 we sold the larger doll in similar condition for $2,875.
