Item Description
c. late 1950s made in Japan. Toy and box are marked with “N” in oval but maker is unknown to us. 3 3/8x11.5x3.5" deep box has wonderful lid art of torpedo boat on stormy high sea. Box lid has tear at lower left side panel with small bits of yellowed cellophane tape on front and back side panel but still displays Bright and Fine. 11" long tin litho toy has wonderful lithography and includes guns, radar tower, fold-down radar screen, smoke stacks, etcetera. Toy has working crank-type wind-up. Bright and Exc.
