Item Description
This and the next three items #1750-#1752 comprise the complete set. 14" tall overall hand-painted composition figurine depicts Leroy Neiman’s famous Femlin character standing full figure with hands in air. 1963. Her hair, long gloves and stockings are separately attached (as produced) pieces. As issued, this figure has brass pins in both her feet that attach to the originally issued walnut wood base. Figure has had one elbow and three fingers professionally repaired and figure has a few possible color touch-ups done at factory. Figure has some lt. hairline age crazing and is a bit top heavy so it needs a bit of help to stand alone but otherwise displays Fine. The Femlin character made her debut in 1955 in Playboy’s Party Jokes section and continues to grace its pages to this day. These Femlin figures advertised in the back pages of "Playboy" in 1963, are among the rarest and most desirable Playboy related items, not to mention among the best items ever produced relating to Playboy.
