Item Description
1930s by Marks Bros. Co. They produced two different size bowling games (see smaller size set #2352) as well as two different gun target sets, all utilizing the same "targets/pins." These are 6" tall die-cut cardboard Mickey soldier figures w/attached wood bases to keep them upright. Same box art was also used for both with "A Bowling Game" being added to those sets. This is the larger set #249 and has compete amount of 12 identical soldiers along w/six painted wood balls. Box is 11.5x14x1.75" deep. Box has edge/side panel wear/aging w/one corner split. Lid remains glossy w/rich color. VG/Fine. About half the figures have some very minor crease lines that mostly do not go all the way through and all remain bright and clean. All are much nicer than usually found, Fine to Exc. Scarce game.
