9.25x16.5x2” deep box contains English set from 1940 by the British Thomson-Houston Co., Ltd. Lid features large image of Mickey as Sorcerer’s Apprentice, additional character images and the light set itself appears on lid and side panels. Same lid art also appears on the large flip-up insert. Plain box bottom has aging and some moisture staining. Lid has color rubs along edges and 1" spot w/surface paper run at right center but box remains tight and Fine. Insert is Exc. Has complete amount of 12 plastic shades w/glass bulbs and all wiring but decals on shades are generic nursery rhyme characters, except for one w/Fantasia images. Appears to have been issued like this. Typical decal wear w/flakes. Set Fine. While not entirely a Disney set, still nice as is and with a beautifully illustrated Fantasia art box.
