Item Description
7.25x10" Whitman #2029, ©1936. 64 stiff paper pages with art on every page in either bw or bw/red. Choice color art is repeated on front/back of both the cover and dust jacket. Story is based on the 1935 short "Mickey's Fire Brigade" and features him along with Donald and Goofy as firemen. DJ has small scattered margin wear and trace of dust soiling but retains rich color and is unclipped. Fine/VF. Book has typical aging to the contents. Tiny trace of wear to edges/corner tips. A choice, Exc. copy. Scarce w/DJ and in this condition. The last high grade copy we offered sold for $1,530.
