Item Description
This book is nearly identical to the one by Harper & Brothers (see item #2273) w/all differences noted below. It is also from 1937. Published by Grosset & Dunlap. Cover design of book and DJ differs slightly in that an accent line appears on top/bottom margins, publisher name is not on front bottom margin and back cover is not just black, rather it has an image of a deer. DJ also promotes different books on the inside flaps. DJ is unclipped. Lt. trace of margin wear. VF/Exc. Contents have slightest trace of margin aging, cover has minor trace of wear along edges. A high grade Exc./NM copy. Rare in the condition and w/DJ.
