Interesting text includes comparing being late for work to being scheduled to be electrocuted at 9 o’clock a.m. and the Governor’s pardon arriving at 9:05 a.m. Staples have tiny bit of oxidation, lt. pinch creases along spine. Still clean and VF. “Disney News” first issue magazine is 8.5x11.75" with total of 20 pages for “Magic Kingdom Club Families”. Dated winter 1965-66, front cover has wonderful photo of happy Walt Disney surrounded by various characters with Sleeping Beauty castle in background. Back cover has color photos of numerous attractions. Contents include photo of Walt Disney on deck of coastguard ship Eagle with captain, star of Johnny Tremain Howell Stalmaster becoming an Army Lieutenant, promotion photo of Hayley Mills for That Darn Cat, image of Winnie The Pooh for first cartoon, park visitors, Mousketeers, Zorro, & more including calendar for December-February park events. A few lt. handling creases here and there but overall Exc. appearance.
