1930s by Gum Inc. Album is 6x10” Vol. 1 for cards numbered 1-48. Cards are 2.5x3". This is the first version with cover art featuring a more primitive Mickey while back cover features same image of Mickey that appears on the gum wrapper for this set. Also, this cover is without the “Property” blank line at lower left that appears on the revised album (see item #2954). This cover text reads “Gags By Hal Horne” which does not appear on the revised album. Sixteen pages for mounting cards along with corresponding text. Neatly mounted at appropriate spots are 10 of the 48 cards. These are: 3,4,10,15,23,26,28,45-47. Lt. cover wear but bright and clean. Pages have trace of wear on a few spots where cards were once adhered and then removed. Pages remain clean. Album is VF. Card #15 has some inking. Otherwise cards remain very clean w/white borders and fairly sharp corners so all still display NM as mounted.
