Issued c. 1943, this set consists of 65 cards. This lot is a near set, 61 of 65. Each is 3.25x5.25" and all feature the exceptional art of Earl Moran. This is the most desirable of the Mutoscope sets and features some of the most risque images of all the pin-up sets. The four missing cards are: "Out In Front, You're The Top, Golden Hours, My Diver's License" (see items #2976-77). Most have some degree margin and/or corner tip wear but many corners remain sharp. Scattered aging to backs. Two backs have trace of surface paper loss. One has writing on back. Two have very faint crease. All have bright and clean fronts. Set is Exc. to NM.
