Item Description
25x38" glossy paper poster ©1977 Warner Bros. Records Inc. For punk rock's genre-defining album, one that received a myriad of attention during it's American release in late 1977. While it failed to enter the Top 100 stateside upon its initial release, it is now considered to be one of the greatest and most influential albums of all time and has since gained Platinum status in the US. However, at the time, negative backlash from their brief tour and the group's breakup gave their US distributor, Warner Bros., no incentive to promote the defunct band and therefore this poster is rare. Great montage design with images based on the 11 songs from the album including the classic "God Save The Queen" w/photo of a young Queen Elizabeth and a copy of EMI chairman Sir John Read's statement on the band. Folded as issued and as such has lt. handling wear. Glossy, VF.
