Item Description
This 1948 Cherrios premium is the largest premium ever offered and one of the most difficult to complete. Offered here is the complete set of the four map sections and punch-out sheets along with three of the nine 6.5x8" Cherrios cereal box back panels. The panels were numbered 1 to 9. Each cut-out is numbered. Edges show uneveness w/ light handling creases, but overall VG to Fine. The remaining pieces come in four 7x14" original mailing envelopes all addressed to same recipient. Envelopes have aging, corner bumps, VG/Fine. Each envelope has one of the four layout sheets (maps) showing the terrain in color on one side w/ extensive assembly directions and informational story text on each building on the reverse. Paper is lightly tanned. Each section came folded and opens to 20x26" w/markings for placement of each section's complement of the 71 pieces. All four sections are extremely clean but all have some splits along several of their fold lines from 2-4" long. This could easily be remedied with archival tape. Each envelope also contains the folded as issued punch-out panel sheets with the remaining numbered parts. All pieces numbered 19 thru 71 are intact. These are extremely clean and unpunched. Overall VF/Exc.
