Item Description
Extensive lot for this interesting toy series from 1961. All comes in original shipping box noting it originally contained a display and 36 boxed figures. The store display is 13.5x14" die-cut cardboard w/easel on back. Advertises series of snap-together soft plastic figures that were available for "39¢ Each/3 For $1.00" and holds four figures. These 3" tall figures come in window boxes with different bkg. images and stands. Back of each individual box pictures the 24 characters in this series. Display comes w/26 of original amount of 36, including a near set, 23 of 24 different plus 3 duplicates. Missing only Dewey. Nice mix of characters includes Mickey, Donald, Ludwig, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Brer Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Babes Soldier, Bambi, and others. Shipping box shows wear, VG. Display has lt. edge wear and aging. VF. One figure is missing box back. Other boxes have scattered wear/dust soiling, typically Fine to Exc. w/NM figures. A great display and the largest group we have ever offered for this toy.
