Item Description
From 1963. Large 17x20" cardboard mat holds original oversized glossy photo of the Fab Four in their iconic gray suits taken by Dezo Hoffman in July of 1963. Top center of mat has "EMI" logo w/text "The Greatest Organisation In The World." Back has easel. Lower right corner of photo has text "The Beatles Parlophone Records" along w/company logo. Trace of wear to extreme border of the mat. Rest of border has lt. aging. Some aging to blank reverse. Photo image has a few tiny black color touch-ups only noticeable upon very close inspection. Some minor ripples to margins of photo mostly only noticeable to the touch. All remains bright and glossy. Fine. A rare and impressive display piece, only a few are known in the hobby.
