Transogram #3843 ©1954 National Comics Publications, Inc. 9x17.5x1.75" deep box has nice lid illustration showing Superman flying with Daily Planet building in background as crowd watches with inset images of Lois Lane, Clark Kent, Perry White and Jimmy Olsen at right side. Box has 2.5x.5" tape pull on top, doesn't affect graphics, scattered color rubs around edges with bit of wear at corner tips. Tight and overall Fine. 17x17" board has various Superman action scenes with center of board being dominated by 5x5" image of Superman flying by Daily Planet which is repeated on back of board to show when folded. Board has some light blistering on sides and some minor rubs. Fine/VF. Parts include die-cut cardboard Superman piece with wooden stand and two different sets of eight assignment cards designed like newspaper headlines as well as eight colored plastic markers and two sheet instruction papers which appears to be older replacement. Insert has bit of lt. wear but overall VF. Parts are Exc. Great design with wonderful images. Game contents are much more elaborate than scarcer smaller variety.
