Item Description
8.5x11" issues No.1 through No.35, missing only No.18 and No.31 over period beginning September 7, 1970 and ending May 13, 1971. Publisher is "Committee To Defend The Panthers" headquartered at 843 Broadway. Issues No.1-17 are original photo copies as distributed. Some are one sheet only but most are two stapled sheets, frequently printed on all sides. Issues No.18-35 are professionally printed four-page folders. Final issue No.35 concludes the series following "Not Guilty" verdict. A rare group of news releases. Issues No.28-29 and No.33-34 are double number issues. Light tanning on last two issues but overall Exc. Our photos show four sample front covers. The only other set from the Levin Collection that we sold back in Auction #171 (also missing issue No.31) realized $396. Levin Collection. Comes with Hake's COA.
