Item Description
c. 1890s-1930s. Eight postcards each 3.5x5.5" include images of man in hen house, eating watermelon, chasing possum up tree, and children at well. Two of the postcards are H-O cereal company "Kornelia Kinks" premiums. Two are postally used. Eight trade cards range in size from 2-3/8x2-5/8" to 3.25x5.25". Images include corn picking in Georgia, baby boy in a watermelon being rocked by girl sitting on large watermelon, man fishing, boy in cabbage head, and boy in yam. Next is 3.5x5.5" folder with text on front "A Pair Of Black Undressed Kids" which appears to represent gloves but folder opens to reveal attached postcard of two black girls in the buff with one holding fan and one holding umbrella c. 1909. Last item is 3-3/8x6-3/8" "Excelsior Improved Varnishes" folder with image of smiling boy on front with text "Won't Turn White". A few trade cards have scrapbook removal residue on reverse. A few are VG but most items are Fine/VF.
