Item Description
All items were made and sold at the American Potter exhibit. Five plates, each 7" dia. have text on underside "Joint Exhibit Of Capital And Labor/The American Potter/New York World's Fair 1939". Two sets of plates have matching left and right images of early craftsmen working on a large pot. Three mugs are each 4-5/8" tall. Two have same design of George Washington, one is dated 1939 and one is dated 1940. Third mug is Martha Washington and is dated 1940. Three small mugs are each 1.75" tall dated 1939. Two are Martha Washington and one is George Washington. All items are glazed china except small white George Washington mug is bisque. All are free of defects. Exc./NM. A nice group to display together.
