Swiss made c. 1970s. 1.25" polished brass accent case has dial image of totally nude Annie in profile kneeling position. New band. Tiny paint loss at 3 o'clock otherwise running and Exc. Little Annie Fanny was created by Harvey Kurtzman and Will Elder in October, 1962 for Playboy, loosely inspired by the Little Orphan Annie comic strip. The innocent and somewhat air headed Annie usually found herself naked in every storyline. Kurtzman did numerous preliminaries for Will Elder who was also assisted at times by other artists including Frank Frazetta and Jack Davis.
