Item Description
3-3/8x7/8" deep textured thin cardboard box has lid text "Souvenir Pan-American Exposition, Buffalo, 1901." Self enclosed box bottom has glass window on top revealing graphics of three Brownies on fence along with text which includes "Try To Put Those Lively Little Brownies To Bed One In Each Corner, It Can Be Done In A Few Seconds, But You Will Have Much Fun. Patented, April 4, 1899." Made by J. Harvey Co. Toronto. Four tiny celluloid pieces are off the capsule playing piece ends and four tiny wire prongs are off the capsules however the ball bearings remain in each capsule and each has one or more wire attached that make the capsules slip around very erratically as intended. Lid has four split corners but game box is otherwise essentially Mint. First we've seen in our 46 years.
