Item Description
1930s. 11x19x1-7/8" deep box with Deco style lid art of boy pouring mold at left and girl painting soldier at right. No. A104 made by Home Foundry Mfg. Co. Chicago, the same company that made famous character sets including Buck Rogers and Mickey Mouse. Set is complete with soldier two piece mold, electric ladle, and lead pigs. Set is only missing three sample soldiers. Lid has lower right corner seam split and two mold halves show lt. metal fatigue. Contents of one paint bottle leaked out long ago otherwise contents are Fine to Exc.
