Lid has large artistic facsimile Max Fleischer signature along with text "With Materials To Make And Color Your Own Movies". Contents include 9x12" softcover 32-page illustrated guide subtitled "How To Make Movie Cartoons" with delightful image of Betty as animator working on drawing on easel which shows her in spotlight with Koko The Clown operating camera while Bimbo uses megaphone. Back cover features all three characters riding a multi-legged cartoon centipede. Pages include step by step instructions on drawing all three main characters as well as Betty Boop's cartoon friends. Three pages at end are designed to be cut out for use as a flip book with storyline involving Betty, Koko and Bimbo. Set comes with 8x11" Betty Boop drawing pad with stiff paper covers and same image on front and back of Betty posing with hand on hip. Box insert holds bottle of waterproof cartoon ink, drawing pen, tacks to mount drawings on board, and ruler. Insert has small die-cut square, possibly missing an eraser otherwise set is complete. Lessons book has ink stain on several pages near the bottom though not affecting any art. "Koko Circus Stunts" and "Bimbo Play" pages have tiny blue watercolor on two images. Covers are clean bright and stunning. Front cover of drawing pad has come loose and a few pages are neatly used. Overall contents are Exc. but as placed in box all displays as Mint. Box itself is NM.
