9.75x11.5" proof for box lid to small size puzzle. Series #1505 Saalfield puzzle. ©1940 Superman Inc. Side panels have great image of Superman sprinting. Title of puzzle is "Superman Shows His Super-Strength." Proof has inset photo of the assembled puzzle that depicts the cover art from Action Comics #26. File copy with stamp "Permanent File Copy Return Promptly To Library Desk". Pair of staple holes and scattered handling wear, some light soiling and small edge chipping. "1505" in marker on two edges. VG. A great unique piece for framing.
