Item Description
6-7/8x9.25x1.25" deep box has lid graphics with eight different poster designs. Copyright J.M.N.Y. 1943. Box states 30 patriotic envelopes and 30 matching sheets of writing paper which is what is here, but just 15 different designs. Two sheets and two envelopes of 15 designs each equals 60 as issued. Box is worn around edges with lid surface moisture marks. VG. Contents have lt. aging but all are unused and VF/Exc. Several pieces have different images as those shown on lid, but all have superb design. Comes with small slipcase titled "America The Home Of The Brave" with image of an aviator and plane holding three unused pencils, each with text "America In The Air". Exc./NM. Last pencil is 7" long promoting Lakeshire-Marty Co. cheese company in Wisconsin. No eraser as issued with text in that area "Rubber Once Used For Erasers, Now Used To Rub Out Japs!" Pencil has lt. wear and has been sharpened. Fine. Interesting group.
