1950s. 6.5x6.5x18" tall thin cardboard box has graphics on all four sides of monkeys passing coconuts with one climbing up palm tree. Box is worn, missing top lid, bottom corner has strips of masking tape on all four sides. Good. Just comes along. Contains 17.75" tall toy with tin litho base, trunk and monkey with textured cardboard palm fronds. Complete with five steel coconuts. Works well. Monkey climbs up tree causing coconut to fall in his hand. He descends quickly, drops nut and action is repeated. Scattered lt. surface wear, palm fronds have some creasing. Fine. Nicely designed.
