Item Description
Promo photo for character in long black undertaker’s coat portrayed by John Zacherle on WCAU-TV Channel 10 as host of "Shock Theater" from Oct. 7, 1957 to Sep. 13, 1958. Dick Clark supposedly gave Zacherle the nickname "The Cool Ghoul." In 1958, Zacherle cut "Dinner With Drac" for Cameo Records and moved to NYC television where his shows included the 1960s Chiller Theatre in New York on WPIX. This bw photo has a great image of Zacherle in his crypt and preprinted signed as "Whatever You Are! Roland". Exc. Set of three 3.5" buttons. Text reads "I Like Roland", "My Dear", and "Where's Igor?". My Dear refers to his wife and Igor was his lab assistant. All Fine to VF with wear only visible in reflected light. The only set we've ever offered in our 46 years. Scarce. An instant Roland collection.
