Item Description
13" tall largest variety with painted composition body and original segmented wood tail. This is the variety with decal on chest with name listed simply "Jeep." There is a variety with slightly larger decal that has full name of "Eugene The Jeep." Decal also has a 1935 King Features Syndicate copyright. 100% restoration to composition giving doll an Exc. appearance. Decal and segmented wood tail are original. Great likeness of the mysterious, magical creature from E.C. Segar's "Thimble Theater" comic strip. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
