Item Description
9 7/8x24x3/8" thick sheet of wood has paper label w/unnamed but strong likenesses of Tige winking, Buster Brown in center with paint brush and Buster's mother at right. c. 1905. Their heads are die-cut and each has block of wood on back held in place by metal hinge w/spring near top allowing each head to tilt back when hit w/ball from front. Back also has pull-out wooden easel for standing up. Bkg. art includes Tige pulling Buster on roller skates, Buster running away from mustached man. Figures have point scores at top: 5 for Tige, 15 for Buster, 10 for Buster's mother. Paper surface is worn and heavily dust soiled, a few scattered tiny pieces gone but overall VG.
