Item Description
An x-rated sexually explicit comic book, also referred to as a Tijuana bible, featuring unauthorized use of comic characters. 3x3-7/8" c. 1940s has front cover art of Black Cat looking at a black cat. Contains four sheets printed back to back with storyline involving Black Cat arriving on her motorcycle and attempting to arrest a dope smuggler. She tastes samples of his bottles of dope and winds up getting involved with the smuggler and floating out to sea with him as they continue having sex as he goes to look for more dope. Front cover is printed slightly off center as published. Covers have trace of lt. aging, entire book is missing extremely tiny piece at upper right corner tip. Overall covers Fine, inside pages near Exc. "Black Cat Comics" was published by Harvey Comics from 1941 to 1951. Black Cat's alter-ego Linda Turner was a professional stunt woman skilled at riding a horse and a motorcycle. She used a lasso and rope and also had a black belt in Judo. A rare title and first we've offered in our 46 years.
