Item Description
1930s. Distributed by N. Shure Co. Chicago. Made in Japan. No.35N13. 4x5-7/8x1.25" deep box decorated with cartoon images of kids playing has paper label on top with art images of all four figures inside. Contains 3.25" tall Annie, 3.75" tall Harold, 1.75" tall Sandy, 3.75" Lillums. Each is nicely hand painted. Lid has dust soil with lt. wear around edges. Box is Fine overall. Contents are Exc./NM. A scarcer set with characters from two different comic strips copyright Famous Artists Syn. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
