Item Description
c. 1930s. Made in Japan. Distributed by L.W. & Co. Inc. No.N7701 "Perfection Band". 3.75x6.5x1.5" deep box decorated with children's toys has paper label on top showing four figures inside. Each is 3-3/8" tall. Includes two Scrappys, one playing drum and the other playing french and two Margys, one playing violin and the other playing accordion. Lid has surface dust soil and box bottom has seam splits at left corners. Near Fine appearance. Margy with violin and Scrappy with drum each have a bit of misapplied black color on faces otherwise contents are NM. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
