Item Description
This is the actual example shown in the Hake Pop Culture Guide. Photo was taken in the Peanut Gallery for Christmas 1954. 12.5x15-5/8" wood frame has photo with 9.75x12.5" image area. A total of 48 people are shown in the photo. Frame has lt. aging. Photo is clean and Exc. Comes with letter signed by Ron Smith, the son of Buffalo Bob stating that the photo "Actually Belonged To Buffalo Bob Smith When He Resided In Flat Rock, North Carolina" and was displayed in the family room. An exceptional piece ready for display with a letter of provenance which has not been folded. Comes with photocopy list of those shown in photo. A true piece of Howdy Doody history.
