This is the very first book ever written devoted entirely to Marilyn Monroe. Copyright 1953 by Rudolph Field Company published by Greenberg. 5x8.75" hardcover with 64 pages plus additional 16 page section in the back with full page photos. Book is also illustrated with additional photos from various films including "Niagara, How To Marry A Millionaire, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Don't Bother To Knock, We're Not Married". All are courtesy 20th-Century Fox. No dust wrapper. Covers have trace of lt. aging. Fine. Marilyn Monroe was just 27 years old when the biography was published and reportedly helped Franklin with the book. Franklin would go on to write a total of 23 books and interview thousands of celebrities. Early, historic and rare.
