Item Description
The smallest piece is 4" tall while the largest is 5.5". First is "Member" badge with ribbon text for a 1906 convention. Suspended is choice color celluloid with woman working a churn next to a cow. Text reads "Indiana State Dairy Association." Gray tone on the ribbon but otherwise clean. Second has 1.75" celluloid portraying horse head within golden horseshoe. This is attached to a red ribbon reading "Annual Sullivan Co. Coaching Day/Liberty, N.Y. August 31, 1904." Hanger bar reads "First Prize." There is a partial tear in the fabric below the bottom edge of the bar but the fabric is at least 50% complete and rest is clean. Last is bar pin reading "Superintendent." This joins to a blue ribbon with 1.25" celluloid at center showing livestock as well as jockeys on horses. Color is a little faded on the button as well as the blue ribbon but intact with ribbon reading "Martin County Agricultural Society/Minnesota."
