This was the lifetime collection of a "Charter Member" of the group. The group begins the three identical ribbons, with safety pin reverses, reading "Charter Member NTA Founded At Blaker Farm June, 1945." Next is a "5 Year Member N.T.A." This ribbon would have been given at the time the first button was issued for the 1950 "Reunion." Beginning with this 1950 button the collection is complete through 1968 with the exception of 1957 and 1967 buttons. Thus there are 17 buttons in this series and 16 of those have ribbon with cardboard stapled attachment naming the original owner who was from "Coldwater, Mich." A couple of the ribbons have smudge on the inked lettering and one has tape but by and large the ribbons remain Extremely Fine and the buttons are essentially Mint with great photos of early steam driven equipment. The group includes two miscellaneous items, one is a 1.75" button from 1963 "Richland County Steam Threshers Association." This has just the slightest trace of background age. The other piece is from 1968 and reads "1st Annual/Florida American Royal Gas-Steam Round-Up/Sarasota - Bradenton Speedway." Among the N.T.A. buttons the reunions from 1950-1952 took place in Alvordton, Ohio while the following years between 1953 and 1964 took place in Montpelier, Ohio and then the final three buttons are from Wauseon, Ohio. A remarkable lifetime collection.
