Item Description
9.25x13.75" diecut cardboard w/unused cardboard easel on back. Issued to promote the 1936 Grosset & Dunlap book and notes price of 50¢. Features the same great image of angry long-billed Donald that appears on the book's cover. Text reads "Every Boy's And Girl's Favorite Donald Duck/Profusely Illustrated By The Staff Of The Walt Disney Studios." Has just an extremely minor trace of wear at a few spots on extreme edges. Remains totally bright and clean, an Exc./NM example of this rare and graphic display piece. A superb and historic Donald item. This is the actual example shown in the "Official Price Guide to Disney Collectibles" by Ted Hake and comes with COA. Listed in the guide at $8,000 in NM. One of the most exceptional Disney items we have offered in our 46 years.
