Item Description
From same rare series as previous item #2272. This is Vol. 1, No. 9, Sept. 1933, the final issue in this particular series. Published by Kay Kamen. Superb cover art titled "Mickey Thanks His Lucky Stars" and shows him in tux surrounded by Hollywood heavyweights including Groucho Marx, Charlie Chaplin, Eddie Cantor, Jimmy Durante and others. Inside front cover is an ad for United Artists w/specialty art of Walt and Mickey. Other great features and art throughout. Back cover ad featuring Mickey is for Stark Dry Goods, Ohio. Included is mailing env. for this store which includes Mickey & Minnie images at top left. Worn and aged, just VG but the only example we have ever offered. Magazine hole punched at spine. Tiny trace of staple rust. Slightest trace of aging but a bright and clean copy overall. VF. Overstreet value in VF=$1,350. We have only offered a few issues from this rare series over our 46 years.
