Large format 10.25x13.25" Vol. 1 #1 published by Hal Horne ©1935. Has 44 pages in full color including puzzles, games, stories and comics of Disney characters. Choice merchandise ads include Post Toasties boxes w/Mickey cut-outs on back cover, Mickey Lionel hand car on inside back cover. Front cover has faint but readable ink stamp above Mickey's head "Sample Copy." The dot-to-dot puzzle of Mickey w/Jimmy Durante has been neatly done in pencil, two other pages have some coloring. Contents tanned w/age. Some small margin tears. Contents have pulled loose from cover at lower two staples but cover still attached by third top staple. Spine edge has some splits w/archival tape repairs on inside. All over cover wear and aging w/creases, color rubs and some small stains. However, cover remains glossy and w/vibrant color. Cover Good, contents VG. Overstreet value in Good=$1,425, VG=$2,850. A very desirable and classic Disney publication. See rare sign for this publication item #2276.
