Two sided brass compact depicts a woman's hand with cuff accent. The piece is 4.75" long and .75" thick. On one side the area forming the back of the hand has just a little light wear to the luster slightly changing its color but quite minor in nature and vast majority of the piece has its original glossy brass finish. Opens to reveal interior of large oval mirror plus second compartment for the powder with applicator that appears to have never been used. Company name appears on the lid of the powder compartment. This design was advertised c. 1946 in Harper's Bazaar. Extremely Fine.
