We've checked back to our Auction #155 and cannot find any characters not included in this group of eight so it is quite probable this is the full set. Each character button is a 1-3/8" litho which includes newspaper name, serial number, portrait of character and promotion of "Cash Prizes/See Comic Pages Daily." The characters are Krazy Kat, Mickey Mouse, Little Orphan Annie, Popeye, Pa Perkins, Moon Mullins, Henry, and Casper. This last button has 1/8" long narrow line of paint off far left and Orphan Annie has 1/16" paint speck off her chin but otherwise just a virtual pinpoint of paint loss here and there with all displaying at least NM if not Mint. With these eight comes 2.75" oval, first we've seen, reading "Silver Anniversary/1911-1936/Herald And Express/Largest Daily In The West." This is NM. A rare group.
