Item Description
3.75x4.75x1" deep blw illustrated mailing box contains complete premium set by Lionel Corp. copyright 1953. Box includes illustrations on side panels of tracks, Lionel logo. No mailing label and has two corner splits, 1.5" split along left edge and lt. horizontal crease across center. Reverse has large but lt. moisture stain at one corner area but still VG. Set consists of a sheet of 13 clear plastic track stamps in different shapes and sizes, "Ring-Shaped Holder" in yellow plastic and generic tin ink pad. Includes 9.5x12.5" two-sided bwr illustrated instruction sheet plus illustrations of different track lay-outs and suggestions for building scenery. Kit was used to make blueprints of different track lay-outs for a building of an actual lay-out. Also comes w/rw paper from "Dan Magee The Lionel Engineer" mentioning "Catalogue And Billboards Coming Under Separate Cover." Instruction sheet has lt. wear as originally folded, a few small spots of surface paper missing where sheet stuck together as folded. Tin ink pad has scattered wear to silver luster, mostly on underside. Other parts are unused and Mint including the track sections which are in one complete plastic sheet and have not been separated into individual pieces as designed.
