This is model number 593M as shown in the 1935 catalog folder, see previous item #2375. Three different pull toys featuring Tanglefoot were produced, all are equally rare, and this is the largest and nicest. Overall size is 5.5x24x14" tall painted jigsawed wood which is .5" thick. Metal rear wheels have 3" dia. cardboard disc attachments featuring Mickey images. Tanglefoot has original pull string w/wood ball on end. Tanglefoot is a separate unit that attaches to Mickey by means of metal rods. Mickey has separate head that moves as toy is pulled, inside "Gongs" of wheels produce sound. The wheels have scattered paint wear w/some bare metal showing on the rims. Cardboard attachments have aging and creases but still firmly intact. Wheels VG. The wood figures show lt. wear/aging but retain a glossy finish. Fine. This is the only example we have offered in our 46 years of this very rare toy. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
