This 1953 set consisted of 15 basic buttons that were available within the cereal packages. In addition, as per the offer on the preceding cereal box wrapper, a beanie and large size 1-5/8" litho "Roy Rogers King Of The Cowboys" button could be ordered. That puts the set at 16. In addition the set was issued in Canada but there the "Jumbo" button was the same design as the American version but only 1-1/8" litho. That makes 17 in the set. However, in addition, there is a "Dale Evans Queen Of The West" 1-1/8" litho and we've never quite determined how this button was distributed but as its design matches the Canadian 1-1/8" Roy Rogers button we include it for a total 18 buttons in the set. The 15 smaller buttons are each 7/8" lithos. This set was in the Hake Collection and has been constantly upgraded over many decades to achieve an essentially Mint set and we feel probably the best set in existence. Comes with Hake's COA.
