Item Description
From 1935 and by Cohn & Rosenberger Inc. who produced some of the nicest Disney jewelry of any era. 5x7x.75" deep box contains complete three piece set. Different configurations were produced w/at least two different box styles. This is only the second deluxe boxed set we have offered in our 46 years and both contents and lid art differ from the previous example which we sold in 2008 for $2,875. This lid features two different Mickey and two different Minnie images. Inside of box complete w/dividers and three matching insert cards w/Mickey images. Box has moderate dust soiling. Still tight and Fine. Insert cards are VF. First item is 3.25" tall purse with enameled metal frame and mesh body complete with attached chain link handle and die-cut Mickey attachment. Second is metal bracelet with enamel paint and images of Mickey, Minnie and Pluto having a picnic, singing, etc. Third is necklace with three different metal Mickey charms with enamel paint of him in stride, in a cart, riding a bike. The bracelet has moderate aging/luster wear as boxed over the years. Fine. The other two have lesser amounts of wear/aging and are VF. Comes w/8.5x11 typed letter on Cohn stationery to Alexander Drysdale & Son store of Bennington, VT. Text greatly encourages "Jewelry Buyer" to consider selling their line of products for the Christmas season. Specifically mentions a variety of their products and prices. Lt. wear as folded but Exc. and a great complement to the set.
