Item Description
Pair, each 5x9". The first is ©1930 and tablets from this series are the first domestic and most likely first worldwide pieces of licensed Mickey Mouse merchandise produced. The deal to produce these tablets was cut in 1929. This tablet is .25" thick w/unused lined paper. Great cover art of Mickey standing on a stool next to a large globe. He points to a "Cheese Factory" that covers much of North America. Moderate cover aging w/some small and faint moisture marks. Second tablet, also from the 1930s, is by Powers Paper Co. This one is .5" thick. Some pages used. Cover art of Mickey playing a sax and Minnie singing. Cover aging/wear. Both VG.
