Item Description
10.5x13-3/8" sign promotes January issue with cover art printed at lower left showing Mickey, Donald, and Pluto whirling around space above camera operator flipping finished cels. Lower right corner has a few lt. hairline creases just visible in reflected light. Top margin edge has small bit of missing surface paper and a few thumbtack holes. Main image area will mat and frame to near Exc. appearance. Comes with 6-5/8x9-5/8" complete issue of magazine this sign promotes. VF. Also includes second issue for November 1933 with cover article titled "How Comic Cartoons Make Fortunes." Cover has nice graphics of Mickey, Buck Rogers, Popeye, Toonerville Trolley as well as image of earlier camera operation. Inside article has photos of cartoonists including Walt Disney, Robert Ripley, and George McManus. Issue is worn with some creasing and 1" piece gone from spine along with 5" cover seam split. Just Good but complete. Interesting group.
