Item Description
4-5/8x6.5" card is March of Dimes premium offered in 1944. Card features nice image of Superman. Facsimile signature/inscription reads "Sincerely, Superman." Postcard back w/text that reads "Thanks For Your Contribution To The March Of Dimes To Fight Infantile Paralysis!" Light handling wear resulting in faint scattered creasing and dust soiling. Inked inscription/name/address on reverse. Pinhole at top center. Colors remain bold and bright. VG. March of Dimes - Infantile Paralysis cards were also issued for Batman and Wonder Woman and we have offered a few of these cards over the last few years but this is only the second Superman card we have offered in our 46 years. Our previous example (in slightly better condition) sold for $1,982. Rare.
